Descriptions of Schiller Society Jobs

Student Jobs

Hosts: A host is a student who has volunteered to host a prospective student overnight in her/his dorm room. As a thanks to the host, the admissions office has a "Host with the Most" program, which offers student hosts a $20 gift certificate for many Northfield vendors(including Hogan Brothers, Target, Applebee's, and Econo-foods) for every four prospies hosted.  Contact Claire Crossett to become a host.

Dorm Reps: Dorm reps receive prospective students to pass onto dorm hosts. Ideally there is one dorm rep per floor—if you live on a floor without one, please consider “repping”!  Again, please contact Becky Leichtling

Tour Guides: Tour guides lead tours for prospective students and their families. See the tour schedule and list of tour guides. Contact Peter Fritz to become a tour guide.

Greeters:  Greeters hang out in the Admissions Office to answer questions and informally converse with prospective students and their parents while they wait for information sessions, interviews, or tours.  For more information, contact Elizabeth Webb or Ben Barclay.
