Fall 2005 Open Practices

Syzygy holds practices throughout fall and winter terms in order to build skills for the competitive spring season. Practices are outdoors during the fall and indoors during winter due to cold weather. Fall and winter practices are open to all women interested in Ultimate Frisbee, regardless of skill level. We welcome and encourage both beginners and experienced players to join us.

Fall and winter practices focus on teaching and perfecting essential basic skills: throwing, catching, marking, stack offense, and person-to- person defense.

Until try-outs, practices are open and anybody is welcome to come. Come to one, come to a few, no commitment required. Fall and winter practices are a great way to learn the game, improve your skills, take a break from studying and meet new (or perhaps visit with old) friends.
