Tae Geuk Pahl Jahng -- Earth

This form represents the Earth. The source of life. The Earth holds and grows everything and is moist and heavy but also gentle and nuturing, in silence and strength. We should be aware of the life force within ourselves and to respect life in all forms. As the last of the Tae Geuk forms, it symbolizes a mother, testing our knowledge, reassuring us and passing on her energy as we prepare to move on to higher forms. It contains all the basic elements of Tae Kwon Do, serving both as a review of the beginning forms and as a foundation for the first Black Belt form.
