Tae Geuk Sahm Jahng -- Fire and Sun

This form symbolizes Fire and Sun and their characteristics of warmth, enthusiasm and hope. Movements should be made with variety and passion, like a flickering fire. Changing bursts of power connect continuous flowing motions. This form teaches combinations, especially hand techniques used in free fighting.

  1. Move left foot to "B" (Apseogi) with left low block.
  2. Right foot front kick to "B" (Apkoobi) with double punch.
  3. Move right foot to "C" (Apseogi) with right low block.
  4. Left foot front kick to "C" (Apkoobi) with double punch.
  5. Move left foot to "H" (Apseogi) with right knife hand strike.
  6. Move right foot to "H" (Apseogi) with left knife hand strike.
  7. Move left foot to "D" (back stance) with left knife hand block.
  8. Slide left foot to "D" (Apkoobi) with right reverse punch.
  9. Move right foot to "E" (back stance) with right knife hand block.
  10. Slide right foot to "E" (Apkoobi) with left reverse punch.
  11. Move left foot to "H" (Apseogi) with right inside block.
  12. Move right foot to "H" (Apseogi) with left inside block.
  13. Move left foot 270° to "G" (Apseogi) with left low block.
  14. Right foot front kick to "G" (Apkoobi) with double punch.
  15. Move right foot to "F" (Apseogi) with right low block.
  16. Left foot front kick to "F" (Apkoobi) with double punch.
  17. Move left foot to "A" (Apseogi) with left low block and right reverse punch.
  18. Move right foot to "A" (Apseogi) with right low block and left reverse punch.
  19. Left foot front kick to "A" (Apseogi) with right reverse punch.
  20. Right foot front kick to "A" (Apseogi) with left reverse punch (with KiHarp).
