Carleton College A Cappella
- Exit 69 is the coed a
cappella group. Andrea sings with them too!
- The Knightingales are another women's a cappella group.
- The Knights are a male a
cappella group.
Other College A Cappella
- Purple Haze is a very cool coed a cappella
group from Northwestern who hosted us for the Best of the Midwest show.
- The Traditions are a
male a cappella group from Macalester College who wear silly plaid jackets and come to visit Carleton from time to time
Professional Groups We Like
- Sweet Honey in the Rock is the
group that most inspires us. We sing songs of theirs more often than we
sing those of any other group
- 10fm is a women's group based in New York City. One of the Accidentals' founding
members, Alicia
Hutchison '94, sings with them. They wear a lot of black and vinyl and
stuff
- Fourshadow is
a male a cappella quartet based out of the Twin Cities. One of their
members is Knights alum Kevin Steinman
