Currently, the MAAC has one martial art offering lessons, besides those clubs already established at Carleton. Students seeking lessons in a martial art already established at Carleton should speak to a representative of that club. The MAAC does not seek to create competition between clubs or instructors, and asks students to respect already established venues of training. However, those students who are not represented by a club should by all means feel free to take advantage of the resources provided by the MAAC.

During the 2005 - 2006 academic year lessons in Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan will be offered by Reid Gilman, 2009. Interested students should contact him and take a look at the MAAC Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan webpage. |
Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan is a traditional Korean martial art founded in 1945. While similar in many ways to Tae Kwan Do it still differs in many ways. Noteable for its extensive use of the hips to generate power and unique influences, Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan is a rewarding study. MAAC Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Website
