We have competed twice in the Trinity College Firefighting Robot Contest, first in the Spring of 2005 and again in 2006. The robot has undergone several iterations (see photos section of the webpage). The goal of this project now is to improve the current version to the point that we can locate and extinguish the flame 100% of the time, in as short a time as possible. Our ability to put out the candle last year put among the top teams, but in order to win we will need reliablility and speed.
