Spring Swing Dance, 9 pm - 1 am, featuring two live bands in Great Hall, Sevy Tea Room, plus student dance demonstrations during the band breaks. Your spring version of Mid-Winter Ball. Sponsored by Rugcutters and Social Dance Club, free.

Dance with the St. Olaf Swing Club, Wednesdays 9-11 pm, Dittman Studio One.

Events in the Twin Cities
The Wolverines Jazz Quartet at the Times Bar and Grill, 201 E. Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, Wednesdays, 8:30 - 11 pm. Dancers love this band. No cover charge, but you must be 21+.

Swing Night at the Wabasha Street Caves, Thursdays 7-10 pm. Live music, lesson at 6:15 pm. All ages, $7.00.

Late Night Swing at Tapestry Folk Dance Center, Thursdays 10 pm - 2 am. DJed music, lesson at 8 pm. All ages, $4 for students.

The Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown, Sept 16-18, 2005. ULHS is one of the top national Lindy Hop competitions. The weekend also features instructional classes and numerous live band dances. Dancers travel across the country to participate in this event!

Mid-West Lindy Fest, May 2006. MWLF is a nationally-recognized Lindy Hop and Jazz Dance workshop weekend, packed with workshops taught by the nation's top dancers, plus live band dances and the Amateur Lindy Hop Showdown competition. This event is open to dancers of all levels and attracts lindy hoppers from across the country.

Twin Cities Lindy Exchange, June 2006. TCLX is the Twin Cities very own lindy exchange, where local dancers gather together to host dancers from across the country for a weekend of great dancing. Last year, TCLX was also home to some great music, occurring in conjunction with the Hot Summer Jazz Festival. TCLX also features the Cats' Corner Competition.
