Carleton College Club Water Polo is a fun, competitive team made up of students from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. We are part of the Collegiate Water Polo Association, and we compete year-round against schools in the Heartland Division. (See Schedules and Results for more information.)

We field a co-ed team during fall term and a women's team during winter and spring terms, and we compete in six to eight tournaments per year. Practices are open to students of all backgrounds and abilities; they generally focus on 45 minutes of basic skill building, followed by 1 hour 15 minutes of more complex drills and scrimmaging.

Practice Times

Practices are held at West Gymnasium from 2-4 pm on Sundays and 6-8 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition, conditioning practices are held whenever we're feeling particularly masochistic. The first practice of spring term was held on Tuesday, March 29, but players are welcome to join us at any time. Bring a swim suit and come check us out!
