Our champion, who went 10-1 on the day, was Old Possum's Book of Practical Carls, consisting of Carleton's Austin Bell and Ted Kuhn. In the finals they defeated 'Tis Pity She's a Carl, consisting of Carleton's Michael Servis and Andreas Stoehr, 390-270. A "third place" game was also played between an Iowa team and another Carleton team, with the Iowans winning a close one, but as the Iowa team was playing with pre-approval as an ineligible team (being a four-person squad with two members who were limited to being on a two-person team under our regular criteria), third place technically went to Ode on the Death of a Favorite Carl, Drowned in a Tub of Gold Fishes, consisting of Emily Barter, Frank Firke, Scott Fox, and Anna Swanson.
Ladder-style playoffs were preceded by round robins in two divisions, with these results:
