CSA CHARTER FOR CARLETON ROBOTICS CLUB
Request for Recognition with Funding

Name and Purpose:
The purpose of the Carleton Robotics Club is to enable students interested in robotics to pursue this interest by participating in annual robotics competitions across the country.

Method for Recognizing Membership
Carleton Robotics Club is open to all members of the Carleton student body. Members will be expected to attend and actively participate in meetings and competitions.

Meetings
The club will hold meetings at least twice a month throughout the year, and potentially more often in the final weeks before a competition.

Description of Officers and Duties
* President- Responsible for overseeing the organization of trips to competition across the country. Serve as contact for CSA.
* Vice President- Responsible for organizing meetings. Will work closely with the President to coordinate the team and help with competition paperwork.
* Treasurer- Responsible for maintaining the club's spending and keep track of financial status of the club. Organize reimbursements and trip finances.

Procedure for Electing Officers
Members will elect officers at the end of each winter season. Voting members must have been part of the club for two terms.

By-Laws
By-laws will be developed over time based upon competitive endeavors. Any by-law formally submitted by a member shall be determined applicable or not by the officers. If applicable, the by-law will then be put to the club for a vote. Majority rules.

Amendments
Amendments shall be handled in the same manner as By-laws.

Provision for Annual Reports
The President and Vice-President will be responsible for the annual reports. All officers can contribute to the annual report.

Annual Inventory Listing
The Vice-President and Treasurer will be responsible for the annual report.

Conditions Under Which Group Shall Be Disbanded
If membership falls below the number deemed necessary by the officers to competitively enter competitions, the club shall be disbanded.
