New for this year is the robot kit project. Our current plan is to develop a robot kit based around a powerful Atmel microcontroller, which will enable us to write more sophisticated code (Atmels work well with C) and hold competitions at Carleton using these kits. The competitions will most likely be programming-based (the kits will be largely pre-assembled, except for sensor placement). Possible competition tasks include maze navigation, "vacuuming", and line-following).
